Excessive Sweating
Medical management of hyperhidrosis.
Excessive sweating, particularly of the underarms, is a medical condition that can be effectively managed in-clinic.

Hyperhidrosis can be socially and professionally limiting. For appropriate patients, prescription injectable treatment offers a well-tolerated option that can meaningfully reduce day-to-day sweating.
Treatment is performed by a trained Aesthetic Nurse under the clinical governance of our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons following a full medical assessment. It isn't appropriate for everyone, and we'll tell you if it isn't right for you.
Where this typically shows up.
The areas below are commonly assessed in consultation. Whether any are treated , and how, is decided on an individual basis.
Underarms
The most commonly treated area. Prescription injectable treatment can meaningfully reduce day-to-day sweating where it is clinically appropriate.
Unhurried. Plastic Surgeon-led. No pressure to proceed.
We start by understanding how much sweating is affecting your daily life, clothing, work, social situations. The decision to treat is shaped by the impact, not by the volume of sweat alone.
Our Aesthetic Nurse takes a medical history covering thyroid function, medications, family history and any other relevant factors. Hyperhidrosis can have secondary causes that need to be ruled out before treatment is considered.
If treatment is recommended, we explain the prescription approach, the expected onset and duration of effect, the known risks and side effects, and how repeat treatment typically looks. Cost is discussed openly once the plan is clear.
Where in-clinic treatment isn't the most appropriate path, we'll say so and advise on suitable referral.
