Jawline Definition
Refined contour, not exaggerated angles.
A defined jawline is a marker of facial proportion and balance. Our approach here is structural, not stylised.

Loss of jawline definition can come from any combination of volume loss, descent of the cheek and mid-face, skin laxity, or simply your underlying bone structure. The right approach depends entirely on the cause.
We assess the whole face, not just the jaw, before recommending anything. A sharp jawline that doesn't suit the rest of the face isn't a result we're interested in.
Where this typically shows up.
The areas below are commonly assessed in consultation. Whether any are treated , and how, is decided on an individual basis.
Pre-Jowl Sulcus
The dip just in front of the jowl. Subtle re-support here often does more to refine the jawline than treating the jowl itself.
Mandibular Border
The line of the jaw bone. Conservative support along the border can clarify the contour where volume loss has softened it.
Gonial Angle
The angle at the back of the jaw. Refinement here is approached cautiously and only where it suits the rest of the face.
Masseter
An enlarged masseter can widen the lower face and contribute to jaw tension. Where clinically appropriate, treatment can refine the contour and ease tension.
Submental Region
Skin laxity and fat distribution beneath the chin affect how the jawline reads from any angle. Both are assessed before a plan is recommended.
Unhurried. Plastic Surgeon-led. No pressure to proceed.
We begin by understanding what you'd like the jawline to do, read more defined, feel less heavy, balance the rest of the face. The language matters because each goal points to a different plan.
Our Aesthetic Nurse assesses the lower face in three dimensions: bone structure, surrounding volume, skin quality, masseter activity and the position of the cheek above. The jaw is rarely treated in isolation.
If a plan is offered, we explain the technique, the conservative amounts involved, the known risks, the expected settling and longevity. Cost is discussed openly once the plan is defined.
There's no pressure to proceed on the day. Jawline work is often best built gradually across more than one session.
