Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Softening the lines of expression.

Our Aesthetic Nurse-led team, under Plastic Surgeon governance, offers cosmetic consultations to review your facial anatomy, skin health and personal preferences before recommending a plan to address fine lines and wrinkles.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles
About the concern

Fine lines and wrinkles develop gradually as collagen and elastin production decline and the skin loses some of its underlying support. Sun exposure, smoking, genetics and day-to-day environmental stress all play a part, over time the lighter creases of expression can settle into deeper, more permanent folds.

At The Haus we don't treat lines as something to be erased. The goal is a softening, not a flattening, of the way your face moves. A well-judged plan addresses both the muscle activity creating the line and the quality of the skin sitting over it, so the result reads as rested rather than 'done'.

We're equally focused on preventing the secondary changes that aggressive treatment can cause: dropped brows, frozen expressions, an over-smoothed forehead. Restraint is the point.

Areas of concern

Where this typically shows up.

The areas below are commonly assessed in consultation. Whether any are treated , and how, is decided on an individual basis.

01

Forehead

Addressing forehead lines early can slow the formation of deeper static creases. For lines that are already etched in, a layered approach, combining muscle relaxation with skin-focused treatments, is often more appropriate than injectables alone.

02

Crow's Feet

The fine lines that fan from the outer corner of the eye are a combination of expression and skin laxity. Treatment aims to soften the lines while preserving a natural smile.

03

Frown Lines

The vertical lines between the brows, the 'elevens', can make a resting face read as tense or annoyed. A measured plan softens them without erasing animation.

04

Perioral Lines

Fine vertical lines above the lip are often addressed with skin-quality treatments rather than volume, with subtle support added only where it genuinely helps.

05

Chin Dimpling

Texture and 'pebbling' across the chin can be softened by relaxing the underlying muscle, lengthening and smoothing the lower face.

06

Jaw Tension & Teeth Grinding

Where it's clinically appropriate, the masseter muscle can be treated to ease jaw clenching, grinding and the headaches that often come with them, with a slimming effect on the lower face as a secondary benefit.

07

Neck & Platysmal Bands

Vertical bands of the neck can be softened to refine the line of the jaw and neck, supporting a more relaxed posture through the lower face.

Your consultation

Unhurried. Plastic Surgeon-led. No pressure to proceed.

Your consultation at The Haus is unhurried. We begin by listening, what's prompted the visit, what you'd like to feel different, and what you'd prefer not to change. We'd rather understand the brief properly than rush to a recommendation.

Our Aesthetic Nurse assesses your facial anatomy in motion and at rest, looking at how your expressions sit, where lines are dynamic versus static, and how your skin is behaving overall. Medical history, allergies and any previous cosmetic treatments are reviewed as part of determining whether treatment is appropriate at all.

If a plan is offered, we explain the approach in plain language, what's involved, the realistic range of outcomes, the known risks and side effects, expected longevity, and how maintenance typically looks over time. Costs are discussed openly once the plan is clear, because pricing only makes sense in the context of what's actually being done.

You are never expected to proceed on the day. You're encouraged to take the information home, sit with it, and book in only when you're ready.

The treatments below may be considered for this concern. The plan that is right for you will be determined in a one-on-one medical consultation.

02

Bio-Regeneration

Injectable treatment that improves skin quality, hydration and elasticity from within, particularly useful for the fine, crepey lines that don't respond to muscle relaxation alone.

03

Bio-Stimulator

Collagen-stimulating injectable that prompts the skin's own collagen and elastin production over months, supporting firmer, smoother quality where fine lines are driven by structural decline rather than muscle movement.

04

Medical Skin Needling

Collagen induction therapy delivered in a medical setting to refine surface texture and soften the look of fine lines.

05

Ultraformer MPT - HIFU

Non-invasive focused ultrasound that stimulates collagen at depth, supporting smoother surface quality over time.

06

Volume Replacement

Where deeper static folds are driven by underlying volume loss, conservative volume replacement treatment can be used to re-support the area rather than fill the line itself.

07

Rejuran

Polynucleotide skin-repair injectable that may support fibroblast activity and refine fine, crepey lines where skin quality is the limiting factor.
