Cosmeceutical Skincare
A clinician-led routine that actually does something.
Medical-grade topical skincare prescribed and reviewed by your clinician, the daily foundation that protects in-clinic results and addresses skin health between appointments.

Cosmeceuticals sit between cosmetics and pharmaceuticals: topical products formulated with active ingredients at concentrations capable of producing a measurable change in the skin.
Common active categories include retinoids (vitamin A derivatives), vitamin C and other antioxidants, peptides, growth factors, alpha and beta hydroxy acids, and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
We only recommend products we believe will help the specific concern you've raised. A simple, considered routine is consistently more effective than a complicated one.
The mechanism, in plain language.
Retinoids accelerate cell turnover and modulate collagen production, the single most evidence-based topical for ageing skin.
Antioxidants neutralise free radicals from UV and environmental exposure that drive collagen breakdown and pigmentation.
Daily broad-spectrum sun protection is the foundation of every aesthetic plan: without it, every other treatment is working against an active source of damage.
Session, settling, results.
We'll prescribe a starter routine based on your skin type, current concerns and tolerance.
Active ingredients are typically introduced gradually, some mild dryness, flaking or sensitivity is expected as the skin adjusts, particularly with retinoids.
Skin behaviour is reviewed at follow-up so the routine can be adjusted; visible improvement in tone, texture and clarity typically develops over 8-12 weeks.
All cosmetic procedures carry risks.
Common: short-term irritation, dryness, flaking or temporary worsening of breakouts when starting active ingredients.
Less common: sensitivity, allergic contact dermatitis, post-inflammatory pigmentation if used incorrectly.
Some actives (notably retinoids) are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
All actives can increase sun sensitivity, daily SPF 30+ is essential.
