Under Eye Hollowing
A rested, refreshed expression.
Hollowing beneath the eyes can make the face read as tired regardless of how well you've slept. The area is technically demanding and requires particular care.

The tear trough sits over thin skin, fine vasculature and a complex underlying anatomy. It is one of the least forgiving areas of the face to treat and is often best approached indirectly.
Not every patient is a candidate for direct treatment here. In many cases, supporting the cheek delivers a better under-eye outcome than treating the hollow itself.
Where direct treatment is appropriate, we work conservatively, prioritising safety over a dramatic immediate change.
Where this typically shows up.
The areas below are commonly assessed in consultation. Whether any are treated , and how, is decided on an individual basis.
Tear Trough
The medial hollow that sits closest to the nose. Direct treatment is offered only where the underlying anatomy is suitable.
Lid-Cheek Junction
The transition from the lower lid to the cheek. Smoothing this junction is often achieved by supporting the cheek rather than the lid.
Lateral Orbital Hollow
Hollowing toward the outer edge of the eye. Cautious, conservative support can soften the area without weight or puffiness.
Skin Quality of the Lower Lid
Crepiness, fine lines and pigmentation through the lower lid skin are often best addressed with skin-focused treatments rather than volume.
Unhurried. Plastic Surgeon-led. No pressure to proceed.
We start by understanding exactly what's bothering you in this area, shadowing, puffiness, crepey skin, hollowness, because these all look similar but ask for very different treatment.
Our Aesthetic Nurse assesses the under-eye in context: the position and projection of the cheek, the integrity of the lower lid, the quality of the overlying skin and any history of fluid retention. Suitability for direct treatment is decided here, not before.
If treatment is appropriate, we explain the technique, the known risks specific to this region, the expected settling period and longevity, and what to expect if revision is ever needed. If it isn't appropriate, we'll say so plainly and suggest alternatives.
There's no pressure to proceed on the day. Under-eye work in particular benefits from a considered, unrushed decision.
